Full refurbishment of an occupied Police station in multiple stages, including demolition and strip-out, new walls, ceiling and floor finishes, building services and furniture, fittings & equipment (FF&E). External works including hard and soft landscaping and roof repairs.
Key Considerations:
- Requirement to stage and plan works across multiple work zones.
- Program Constraints for the Custody Area where delivery must be carried out within 12 weeks of contract execution.
- Works to be completed on a live Police site.
- Successful relocation of various Police Units to temporary work space in the First Floor Training room during works in their respective areas.
- Achieving compliance with relevant Police Department standards.
- Potential to encounter hazardous materials, such as asbestos, lead base paint, etc.
- Ability to deliver the project efficiently in the current COVID-19 pandemic environment.
