Scope: 

• To undertake internal demolition of former retail tenancy
• Convert into office fit out suitable for classroom and office design including structural alterations to exiting building structure
• New base building services including new;
• Mechanical
• Hydraulics
• Electrical
• Dry fire services
• New bathroom facilities
• Upgrade of DDA/BCA compliance
• New office fit out works with industrial design theme.

Key Considerations:

1. Certification hurdles with change in use of building classification
2. Multiple compliance elements requiring upgrade or renewal
3. Multiple stakeholders (multiple landlords members, board of CUC members) Project commencement prior to the Covid Delta outbreak in NSW and severely restricted by lockdown measures during program.
4. Significant design requests/changes and challenging approvals process for each element through the multiple stakeholders.
